I have a 1994 Honda civic sohc vtec. I was on Ebay last night and seen a mugen Ecu for my car for 49.99 and I was wondering if I was true and worth the money. Im getting a stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel put in the week after next and wanted to put in the Ecu at the same time....Please Help

ok any ecu program that you buy for youre car needs to be set up close to what youre car has, first off mugen hasn't made parts for SOHC in forever, second of lets assume that this ecu is a chiped computer witht he mugen chip, look at what mugen run high rpm ITB, and gas is not an issue, any one who buys a mugen or spoon chip is retarded they would be much better off stick with a stock chip or going to some one who has dyno results from different chips.

most parts on ebay are fake. the sellers feedback rating is usually so high because most people are stupid, and just think they are getting a great deal. i'd be very cautious of buying anything on ebay. also, what he said: you don't even need a mugen ecu. do ALL your homework first. and i've seen real mugen ecus going for over 600 bucks.

it's not really a mugen ecu... Mugen does not make chips for ecu's... they make the whole ecu.

I know because I have a Mugen ECU. Retails for 1399.99

Its not that its made by mugen, its the fact that it runs the closest settings to the mugen ECU, fuel/timing/rev limiter etc..
