Well, all I can really give you is https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch. It seems to me that you have much to learn before you turn a wrench on your car.

the motor in your car is a d15b7 im guessing. the problem with the d15 is that the crank is different than a d16 crank, which makes aftermarket rods pretty expensive if you were looking to invest in some. so what i am saying is that it would be wiser to use a d16 if you are going to build the bottom end.
you could however keep stock internals and you could do a mini-me(putting a Z6 or Y8 head onto your b7 block). i would probably suggest doing a little more research and if you are still set on going sohc i would probably recommend picking up another motor to build and then swap it into your car. that way you still have the b7 to get you around. you might want to check out http://www.sohchonda.com for more info. might also want to mess around with this to check out various compression ratios http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm here is some good reading about various sohc headers http://www.hadamotorsport.com/....html some cam specs if you choose to retain the nonvtec head(a6 cams work in b7 heads) https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=427814 and this last one contains a bunch of stuff <A HREF="https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=385741

He actually did...

These come up if you search for "vtech", as well as this thread.
