Default ls/vtec

Just built an ls/vtec stock rods new bearings and stock crank ctr 11:1 comp pistons full built head all except for porting. Had a little problem with the piston hitting the spark plug so bad that the spark plug wouldn't fire. I need some help, any would be great.

if anyone knows where to find a 2000 si head, i would like to buy it, let me know.

serious. repeating info you hear is not the same as understanding it and putting it to use in the real world.

If this only happened on # 1 you may want to make sure you did not spin a rod bearing.

If one hitts they all should !

Thats what i was thinking but wouldn't you be able to hear it once you start the car up? I put a new spark plug in and started it up and it runs fine.

What setup are you runnin? i saw 11 something in an all motor street car you say?

Give this guy a break. He needs help and we can help him. Dude, if you are only mashing 1 spark plug, I suspect you have other problems that you may wantto worry about more. It's not what you wantto hear but true. But, you could just try some plus that dont stick out into the combustion chamber so much, like the guy with the 300zx plugs said. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I'd be careful, he may leave an arrogant comment towards you for trying to help him as well
