Update on engine swap..
Well, I usually hang in the FI forum, but occasionalliy visit the Accord forum too.
Background info: Been building up a seperate F22b2 for my accord. It's using Eagle H22 rods mated to custom CP pistons (we worked out about 9.5:1 c/r) and ACL bearings. Been building this thing slowly for about 2 years now. Finally did the swap this weekend. Also put an Action 1MS and B&M FPR on it. *edit: forgot to add that it's held together with ARP H23 studs (which work fine on an f22b2)*
This was a lot of work with all the accessories still attached, but managed to get the engines in and out w/o even having to open an A/C line. It was a tight fit though. We did have the radiator out because it broke on us (see pics) - so that gave us a little more room.
Either way, swap is done, and new engine seems to be running well
Fingers crossed. Now it's time to start shopping for FI parts
ps: change your fuel filter while the engine's out. MUCH EASIER - try to get a 14mm line wrench too so you don't round off your fuel line.

there doesn't seem like there would be much...the only real performance he'd see is from the extra .7 c/r and that's not much to really make all that much difference...but this seems like it'd hold quite a bit of boost...good luck with the project...it's always good to see blown f's...

Yeah, I wasn't looking for much more power naturally aspirated. This is just in preparation for boost. It's too early to tell, esecially since rings are still seating, but it does feel a tad more torquey, but nothing significant. I also like the motor mount insert - definitely creates more vibration, but just makes the whole car feel "tighter" - and that was only $15
