JDM Headlight Wiring question....
(thank you Steve Mason for the pix)

okie i want to wire up my headlights today, but i want my foglogs to go on with one of my other lights, it doesnt matter which one for the question... my question is, can i just splice into one of the lights... lets say the running light for the pic above stright from the running light power wire? that would work right? i would want to splice stright into the running light power source insted of connecting the fogs to a switch. Also if i splice into one of the lights i wont have to ground the fog b/c it already will be grounded right?
aslo, what the faq is the running light lol...
thnx for the help

yes,..just splice into your running lights.
That is what my friend and I will be doing on his Conversion becasue he dosen't have or want a fog switch.
You may want to check the fuses if you do that.I would think running more Watts may effect the fuse for those lights. It also controls the Tail light running lights.
Its funny,..I see more and more pic's of JDM R's w/ the fogs on w/o Low beams?????
Mine(Piaa wiring) have a relay in them so they will only come on w/ Lows(when I switch to highs,.the fogs cut off) hooked up by ACURA.,..Thats a US Driving regulation Supposedly.Your not supposed to drive around w/ just Fog lights on??

okie so if i want to splice into the lowbeams then all i have to do is run a wire from the fog socket to the power wire on my lowbeams right? what exalcy is the "running lights?"

well,.you mentioned "running lights"/Parking lights.
( little 168 wedge bulb ---> 1 of 2 in your stock Corner light)
i would splice into those. If you want to be able to run your Fogs w/o the Lows being on. do it that way.
I wouldn't want to splice into the low beam wires,..leave them alone.
run wires to the ground Pin as normal but splice into the Parking lights(JDM city Light) wires and run those to the Fog pin.
If thats how you want to do it.
