i know everyone hates these posts, and i did search. but is that a good setup for a eg with a good bit of power, im lookin for good handlin and a great ride, and i cant lower it to much casue then i cant get in my drievway. but will this give me good handling, well it tear up my subframe, will it help me launch at all. Thanks for any input, it really helps

 

i dont know from experince with that setup, but it will be better than stock..they are all established companies so it will def be an upgrade

 

i have pretty much this same setup on my crx except just a different rear swaybar. ive been through many different spring setups from extreme competition setups to stock and somewhere in the middle and found this to be the most enjoyable for the street.

 

Several people have had tearout problems with the ST bar and the beaks kit, but not with the much more expensive Comptech bar.

That will help your launch only very slightly. Ground Control and others have drag specific kits that help with launch. For launching, you definately want a front lower tie bar and an aftermarket crossmember "traction bar".

 

so would just the front ST bar help my launch, i know traction bars are the way to go, but there real expenisve and make street driving hard (right), but is there a drag specific kit that keeps a good ride and only offers a little drop

 

not sure how much it'll help you but I had that setup on my old 00 Si and it kicked *** for what I needed it for. It isn't too low, won't give you the look of being real low but it handles really nice and is comfortable. I'd say go for it based on my experience.

 

I had pro-kit's kyb's and ST sways front and rear on my old 93 nissan sentra... and it RIPPED in the corners...

I LOVED that suspension...

No experience with aftermarket susp. on a civic though.
