out with the d and in with the b
here are some pics and info about my recent swap. i went with an obd1 swap (got a pretty good deal on it), on my 96 coupe. To make things run smooth, you obviously need the 99-00 civic si rear bracket, and the front engine bracket. Also if you dont' want to do too much re-wiring (if any at all), use a 96-on ex harness. You can use the dx harness but there is some rewiring that has to be done with the iacv. You cannot use the obd1 harness on a 96-up swap because the obd1 harness's are two piece, while the obd2 is a one piece which goes straight to the ecu. Since i used an obd1 motor, you also want to get an obd2 alternator, injectors, and dizzy to make the swap all plug and play. I had to re-wire the dizzy, and it wasn't as hard as people made it out to be. As for the injectors, I used the stock civic ones as the are 240cc and they have the plugs that work with the ex harness unlike the obd1 harness. Other than that, this swap is fairly straight forward. here are the pics:

He went from VTEC to no-tec... what ECU did you use? I guess you have some plugs left over since you used an EX harness?
