Re: B20 non v-tec times (RedNoise)
I buddy of mine put a B20z with everything stock except the Ls trans in a 89 hatch and ran a 14.1 with just the front seats and dash in the car.

Re: B20 non v-tec times (Typesi2nv)
b20b low comp with a y1 lsd,skank2 mani,vibrant crap header,and kmart muffler shop catback on 205/50/15 bfg's.....i ran a 14.2@97. The track was prepped crappy but i still landed 2.1 60's all day. I felt a high 13 in it...but i never took it back to the track. I dyno'ed at 138/121

14.1 all motor B20B
LS tranny, stage 3 clutch
LS intake mani
LS ECU
LS axles
skunk 2 short shifter/**** --to some that might matter. it knocked 2/10's off my time....
89 CRX gutted with the exception of the seats and dash.

Re: (junkyard racer)
nice times with the B20 non-vtec's guys
i thought they would roughly run in the 14.6 to 14.9 range in ef's or eg's but u guys got them in the low 14's.
seems like 13's are very easy to get into with a b20 non vtec set up.
imagine a nice ported head by portflow/alaniz or LDL with a set of crower 404's and 70-mm t-body/intake manifold and a nice header!

daym...these times are nasty from stock all motor b20's...
these things seem to be puttiin out more HP to the wheels with the same mods as B16's and with 30-35 ft/lbs more of torque!
I'm interested in knowing what I can pull....or at least what I'm capable of. Never ran at a track.
My setup:
JDM B20B low comp
AEM CAI
JDM DC-sports 4-1 w/2.5 collector
2.5' catco cat
2.5 custom catback w/2.5' muffler
B&M FPR set @ 45 psi WOT
Exedy stage 1 clutch
stock wheels with pirelli p8000 tires
From the cars I've run on the street (ya i know Street racing is bad but we do it on an on ramp), I'm assuming i'm running a sub 14.5 but with your guys times I'm guessing a 14.2-14.3 (with practice of course)

Ran 14.3 1/4 mile w/ LS(I/H/E) w/ B16 tranny in my 92 Civic HB! Now my motor is far more built but has not been track tested yet, but will be soon after I tune it!
