Low idle, Low rpm when Decelerating
Let me first start off by saying i've searched
cold start is fine,
inspected my plugs, they look fine
wires have 15k on them, oem
used carb cleaner
reset my ecu
3 month old dizzy (from brand new)
cleaned my iacv
adjusted the idle screw
coolant bypass on the IM
no vacuum leaks
Normally, when a car is warm it idles at 850 +/- 50, let say 900. I idle at 900. Normally, when you depress the clutch pedal, the tach needle drops from some point, lets say 3000 and then slows down to 1200 and slowly reaches your idle point.
My car drops from 3000, slows down to 1200 and slowly reaches 650 or so. (realize that the second mark is 500, not 0), then it goes back up.
Also, my idle drops 100rpms from normal or so during the day - even with the coolant bypass. I feel like I've lost power. Occasionally, my idle drops real low (600 or so) when rapidly engaging or disengaging the clutch - i.e. backing out, fast food, any lines.
Any ideas?
Edit - I guess you could call it bouncing, the tach needle bounces when it decelerates.

on the top,
if it's your first time adjusting the screw, u need to cut away the epoxy crap with a knife in order to insert the screwdriver.

Are you sure? I have been unable to compare with my other friends yet, I have a FPR, but it's set relatively high (like, 48psi). I was going to check out the fuel/emissions, but I am pretty sure that's not the cause of it. I changed the filter out about 13k mi or a year ago.
i removed my charcoal canister.
it seems to do this a lot when it's warm out...ecu retarding the timing when it's warm?
I am pretty sure my car never did this beforehand...it only has 54k on it...

We just put an FPR on my car, and the original unit seemed to be set for 52 psi (vacuum line off).
Not sure if this is going to completely cure your problem (might need to re-adjust your idle after resetting the fuel pressure. Stock is 47-54 psi (according to the manual). HTH

i think it could be my alternator gettign lazy. the idle drops more and more when i use power windows. =/ at idle.
it's being a lil stubborn to start too...it's electrical, that's for sure.

my car has been idleing at 750 for the past 3 years. does the same thing as your car. car runs strong. compression is 220 all across and leak down is like at 2% if i remember correctly (have to look at the invoice). dont worry about it.
i'm not running ANY aftermarket electrical system whatsoever. infact, i'm not even running a radio. my lights dim at night if i gas i below 4k rpm, but if i let go of the throtle in gear and engine brake, they light up again. i heard th is was normal, but regardless...
