What did you do for:
Fuel tank Pressure Sensor?
Charcol Canister sensor?
Secondairy O2?

And all the other BS OBD2 sensor?
Or are you running a JDM ITR ECU so it doesn't use those???

like how does this all come in to play if you were gone use a hondata or just areg ecu or is it better to not have to run this stuff with the jdm ecu

The JDM P73 actually uses OBDII-style plugs. But it only looks for OBDI sensors. As such, the difficulty level of changing the plugs is about the same as changing to 1992-1995 plugs. Except this ECU looks for neither a VTEC pressure switch nor a purge valve.

The USDM P73, on the other hand, it s true OBDII ECU. And it is going to be a pain to wire up. But it will be necessary to use this ECU in order to be smog legal if you live in California.

Keep in mind that if you do this:

1. The fuel maps are not going to be right. You will have to reprogram, which will cost quite a bit of money. It is MUCH cheaper to use the P73 that came with the motor and wire it up.

2. You will have to deal with that retarded twin oxygen sensor setup. The P73 uses a four wire sensor. But at least there is only one. And you won't have to butcher that nice, new header you just got to weld in a couple of ugly oxygen sensor bungs. Four wire osygen sensors are also ALOT more reliable and give better fuel economy.

3. Use of a PR3 requires a pre-1992 distributer. This will be somewhat expensive and troublesome to procure. They are also MUCH more prone to failure than the 1996+ distributer that comes with a B18C5.

4. Emission legality is going to be a BIG problem if you live in California. You are even more likely to pass if you try to take your car to a ref with the JDM P73!

I don't know why people still try to halfass it with pre-1992 ECUs on later motors just for the sake of easier wiring.

Cause all they care about is seeing the word VTEC on the valve cover not the performence.
