Default Rota Slipstreams

My friend has a Black Si and wants to get the Rotas Slipstreams (Spoon look-A-likes). Does anyone have a pic of spoon or Rotas slipstreams on a BLACK CIVIC Si. Also whats your opinion on black wheels on black cars. I really dont like them but , if he doesnt get the rotas, hes going to get white rims, and I think Black would look nicer out of the too. Also how much do the Rotas weigh.

Black rims are awesome on a black car. It gives it the sleeper look. I think white rims are kinda ricey.. but that's just me.

They're light, fairly inexpensive. They look good.

They weigh exactly 11.8lbs each. I have some bronze 15s on my hatch. Very satisfied with them

rota fakies are only in 15x6.5... the real-deal regamaster/spoons come in 15x6.5 and 16x7.

How good of quality are the Rota SlipStreams.....or any of their rims for that matter. Their web site if from the stone age, and images take about a year to load even with T1 connection. I see on thier site a mention of their involvment in motorsports, but I wasn't impressed. Anyone who owns Rota's let me know if you've had any problems with them.

ive had slipstreams on my car for a month now...theyre holding up just great....the finish on them is easily scratched, but if your buying the 15's it wont matter, cause theres no chance of scraping the rim on the curb cause the tires are so fat...another good thing, if you get the black...the finish is a little above flat black, and as they weather, they dull a little bit more, making them look even nicer...all in all, it was a killer deal at 400 for the set, if i had to do over, id buy em again...
