Default Question about vacuum lines for BOV and turbo

I'm a bit confused. There are 2 connections on the BOV. I know the top goes to manifold vacuum. Where does the one on the side go?

There are 2 connections on the Wastegate. One I know goes to the boost controller (or manifold vacuum). Does the other go to the connection on the compressor?

thanks!

bottom fitting on bov is not used
one vacuum line on wastegate goes to one side of boost controller, the other one
goes to the other side of the boost controller but has a tee inbetween which goes to
vacuum on the manifold. (this setup is for a manual boost controller)

I have a blitz electronic.

The BOV instructions say something about the fitting on the side going to boost on the compressor. Can that be shared with the wastegate since that is supposed to go to the compressor fitting? Or do I leave the side fitting on the BOV to vent to atmosphere?

I can read, but thanks for asking.
I was just asking cause my HKS info sheet says something about connecting it to the fitting on the compressor. I was confused because i thought that the wastegate gets connected to the compressor and was wondering if I had to T that connection to connect to both of them.

The lower connection on the wastegate should be connected to the output of the compressor...the upper fitting would connect to one side of the solenoid of your boost controller, the other side is tee'd into the line running from the compressor to the lower port on the wastegate...the idea here is that when the ebc actuates the solenoid it feeds boost to the vacuum side of the wastegate, which equalizes the pressure and allows it to stay closed at higher boost levels.

As to the blowoff I've seen a couple different setups...it seems most people leave the lower port open to the atmosphere and just hook up the upper port to manifold vacuum. Personally I like to hook up the lower port to a source of boost as it significantly improves response...

Hope this helps.
