So it looks like you have to completely remove the bumper support to me.

IM this guy: TwoK4drSi

He has a 4 door EK with the biggest precision IC and he has the factory fogs.
I noticed that they flipped the IC upside down for the factory fogs to clear

the only thing holding your bumper are the top plastic screws then...yikes?

I'm in the same boat as "h22civic2" (600hp precision IC, 00 civic Si, w/fogs)...I want to keep my factory fogs & I don't want my bumper to fall off on the highway , if I decide to take off my bumper support.

and the bolts on the side of course... not having the bumper support will not affect the bumper at all.

hmmm maybe I'll go this route? as far as mounting the IC, "espanol" is the man for the brackets?

I guess if I want to keep the fogs, this is the only way???

Tommy's right. I haven't had a bumper support for years now. My bumper doesn't budge.

running the backdoor setup is prolly one of the only ways to keep the stock ek fogs and run a large precision intercooler.

<---- who wishes he had a back door intercooler so he could put back his ek fogs

FYI .. what you guys are calling the bumper support is actually the bumper. The body panel covering it is called the bumper cover

So, in essence, you are no longer legal once you remove the 5mph bumper shame shame, since I know everybody is only running carb approved turbo kits and such!

I have the same intercoolor and just had tabs welded onto it to mount it. Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow and get some pictures of it on the car. Mines going on a 98 Civic.

just to clear something up..i don't fab the brackets, i just sell them..one of my friend's fabs them, and they are nice.as for the whole foglight thing, i don't know.bring your car in and we'll build the batckets off your own car.we had an ek as a guinea pig but it had a little dammage to the front.i wouldn't want someone to get crooked brackets built off that car. .we can make them for teg or eg !!!ek soon to come, maybe..
