Bridgestone Potenza RE010 and different Rims?
Off the wall question...
Has anyone tried 195/55R15 RE010s on different size(width) wheels for the R?
I know they were made for the stock wheels...

Bridgestone's specs say that they are approved for use on rims from 5.5 to 7.0 inches wide.
I haven't tried them on other wheels, though; sorry that I'm not exactly answering your question...

I ran 195/55-15 re-010s on 15x7 TE37 wheels; not on an ITR but my "footwork" upgrades make it close
Plus, I've babysat Cosworth's ITR for an extended period, so I feel I can give a good comparision. IMHO, 195/55-15 work great with a 7inch rim. That's why I opted for Advan AD-07s in the same size

That would be highly unlikely.
Performance of a given tire shouldn't vary a whole lot by wheel width - and, if anything, the optimal performance should be somewhere around the middle of the range of acceptable widths.
