Oil on spark plugs
Well I picked up the car I bought for a $100 (1988 civic), thinking it had a siezed engine. Well me and some friend checked to see if it was siezed and push started it. and it started right up.
Anyways, I pulled off one of the spark plug wires and there was oil on it. All the other spark plugs dont have any oil on them. its the stock D15 motor.
Anyone know why its there? and is it a hard fix? thanks

Check the gaskets for the spark plug holes (forgot what they call them), most likely if you replace them along with the valve cover gasket, it will solve your problem!

Yup just buy the hole valve cover gasket set no more then $30 I believe and you got yourself a good deal on a car.
They have nice prices here.

it could ALSO be the o ring sandwiched under the rocker assembly. you will be able to tell if you remove the valve cover and look down the sparkplug hole and if you see the line of oil running down from the top, then its #3 as above. if not, then its the o ring below the rockers.
