Blitz FATT Full Auto Turbo Timer install help
Hey guys, I searched and couldn't find the info I needed.
I'm installing the Blitz timer on a 00 Si with the Greddy Turbo and I did the purple wire to the e-brake, did the accesory and ignition wires and also the constant 12v power source. oh and the black wires are grounded.
The problem i'm having, is that it isn't keeping the motor running after shutting off the car in either auto or manual mode. I had it set on A-S mode and it just isn't going.
What are possible problems?
Thanks!

There's a tiny switch on the side of the box, one is short ignition pulse, other is long. Try switching that and see if that fixes it. ALso, did you remember to pull the e-brake up???
We did pull up the e-brake. We even thought that we had to drive it around first or something, but that didnt work as well... Still confused with whats not working right or what we didnt do ?... O yea, its my car that he is talking about. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated... thanks guys..
Do this first - unhook your ebrake wire and ground it somewhere else. Then if not that did you get the 12v and ign wires mixed up??? and are you sure you got the ign wire hooked to the ign wire in the vehicle???

Yea we thought about that switch, but when we moved it, the timer didn't even come on.

Ignition is in the right place as I used the same wire as the ECU. 12v I'm also pretty sure of, as when I turned off the car the timer was on and counting down but the motor didn't stay on.

Check your grounds. That what cause my problem when it didnt stay on. ANother tthing is when the turbo timer looks on. It might not be, just turn it off then turn back on. It will work, that has happen to me also.

would the ignition wire be the one on the steering column, would it made a difference since we ran the ignition from the ecu?..thanks guys
Everything is working great now. We went ahead and moved all the wires from the timer to the wires coming from the steering column.

What car?
Right above your post I listed exactly what places I wired up to in the steering column.
Depending on the car, see if a company like HKS or BLITZ makes a harness. Made it MUCH MUCH easier when I put a timer in my WRX :D

i have a 92 prelude that i'm trying to install the dtt dc2 and i'm having some trouble
i've hooked the ig power wire up to where i have my ecu at
i tapped the fuse box for the constant 12v and also the assesory 12v
i didn't want to deal with the e-brake and so i've tried to ground that wire and also feed it a 12v source (when i ground the purple wire..i turn the car off and nothing happends.. the unit turns off also... but when i feed it a 12v source.. teh unit stays on after i turn the car off for 1 second)
i've tried to switch the little switch from a to b and b to a but nothing changes.. oh.. when i have the car running and switch the button.. the timer start counting down
i want it an manual mode and not in the auto mode
if anybody can help me out.. that would be greatly apreciated.. i will also be finding that e-brake wire and just connecting that up
but besides that.. does anybody know where to get the instructions for the unit in english?

i e-mailed blitz but i don't know when they are gogin to get back to me
can you give me a generic run through of how to get the timer to be in the manual mode and count down
does the switch on the box need to be "a" or "b"
also.. on the timer display.. does the little "a" above everything need to be off the screen?
and if it is in a manual mode.. does the car need to run for a certain amount of time or boost a certain amount of boost in order to get the unit to get ready for count down
i've gotten the unit to count down for a second when i turn the key to the on position then to the off position
