Who Cryo's their Rotors? ...and where
I'm running some "brembo" replacement rotors (which were cryo'd) and R4 pads on my R, and I like the way the rotors are wearing. Just wondering if I can get the rotors locally (and cheaply) and send them out to be treated someplace (since Porterfield charged a bit for the rotors, and the treatment was about $30 per).
I talked to Colletti about it some time ago .... but we didn't get anything "hooked up" with his "cryo" guy. TIA

I get rotors treated locally for about $30 each. The company is called NitroTech, in Phoenix. I'd be glad to facilitate or sell the treated rotors to you outright.
Thanks guys, I've sent Brian at FASTBRAKES an e-mail, but it's always nice to get a second opinion.
FWIW the cryo'd ones I got (and am presently running) from Porterfield ran $110 per rotor, using "Brembo" blanks (and those front rotors were poor castings w/balancing clips
), so I'm just trying to get a good product at a "reasonable" price. /ed
