quick advance / retard timing question

Default quick advance / retard timing question

if i was to adjust the timing by rotating the dizz. Then later on reset the ecu, will the timing adjust itself back to 18?

stock is usually 16 degrees and 18 is for slightperformance gain, but no... if you set it with the service connector jumped it wont reset with a ECU powerdown.
