Default CEL code 22

00 type r swap into 00si CEL code 22 vtec pressure switch ........the car ran fine for 1 year without any cel lights except 1 time for the o2 sensor which was changed not to long ago.....now this code 22 comes up any sugestions?

sounds like maybe a connector vibrated loose.check all the plugs.maybe try resetting the ECU,see if it comes back.

I had this same Cel on my VX and I cleaned out the filter in the vtec silonoid<sp and it hasnt came on since. Of course this was after I had already bought another switch. So take that thing off and clean it.

i had a vafc in the car it has a obd2->obd1 jumper and I removed the vafc before the swap.....the jumper still remains and there's 1 lose wire. I left the wire un connected but it never caused a cel

we swtiched the vtec oil pressure switch to another one and its still throwing the code.

there's three possible problems.
1.wiring.check for continuity from the sensor plug to the ECU plug on all associated wiring.
2.sensor.get a manual and troubleshoot the sensor
3.ECU.doubt this is it since it's not giving you any other problems.

not really...if it's the solenoid,you can get a used one of somebody here for a good price.wiring is no problem.like i said above,doubt it's the ECU.

try changing oil...old mucky oil can do it
clean the screen inside out its only 3 10mm bolts and 15 mins
i had this prob wit a half quart too much oil the code will throw also with unusuall oil pressures such as bad oil or too much
