Default help me out jdm r motor or rebuild?

Like the title states help me make a decision, between jdm integra type r motor or rebuild my stock gsr motor with jdm r pistons? Right now I can get a complete jdm r swap for 3.6k includes everything. I'm not sure how much the rebuild will cost.

Right now the only pros and cons I can think of for getting the jdm r motor are

Pros
-type r tranny with lsd
-newer lower milage motor
-better flowing head

Cons
-smog?
-no vin

I get the new motor then rebuild the old motor in your spare time and then put that in once it gets crazy.
I doubt the transmission will effect smog.

Smog: if you're in cali, I can pass you.

Although if you do a rebuild.. you can get more power than the stock R puts out.

Hit me up if you need more info on what I posted.

I would rebuild the gsr and get a R tranny and sell your gsr tranny. You should be able to get more hp than a stock ITR and plus you dont know what kinda shape the ITR motor would be in.

cons: would cost more altogether, unless you had soemone rebuild it for you..(cuz labor sucks)..the LSD in the type r sucks...(dam clutch type's)...dont know what the condition is.....when you smog your car, you have to have papaers saying you own the motor, and paid for it in a legit manor....heavier crankshaft

pro's:pistons...good for high compression....itr head..ahhh all honda lovers dreams.... nice 4.785 final drive...cept you top 3rd at like 70 mph.lol

so go from there.
