Default lma's...symptoms of them going bad?

My motor has a fairly loud tick at idle. it seems to go away over about 5K or so, but it is very apparent once the motor gears down. Any ideas. A little background on the setup. I was told by a mechanic that worked on it the wristpins in the motor were bent due to too much boost (10psi jrsc) and too much compression (10.5:1 w/ je slugs). thanks.

it could be your injectors. What you could do is find a way to disable each spark in each cyl, by pulling the spark plug wire. do it to each one of them at a time. If its your wrist pin the tick should go away on the the spark disableed one. this is how you find rod knock, i figure its the same way.
