hey i have a base rsx with a 2.5 exhaust, AEM CAI, and DC header, its just not enought and i dont have the money for a swap but i neeeeeed more power. im gettting a chunk of money for my 18th birthday on tuesday and i just wanted to seee what people thought about hondata for the base, is it worth it?

 

99% of the people that have the flash for the Civic Si (same engine as your car) really like it. The people that don't have it don't like the price tag (hence, why they don't have it ) for the gains that you do get.
Since you have i/h/e already, you probably won't get much of a hp/tq gain in numbers, but from what I've heard it gives a smoother throttle/power band and the extra revs, of course.

You might want to head over to clubrsx.com, if you haven't already, to see what numbers/1/4mile times people get and how they like it, as there might be more posts over there. Just beware the stupid sigs/crap people over there, though.

 

So far everyone who has the flash as loved it. Higher rev limit, more power and a bit faster. Spend the extra cash and get the hondata.
or if you have 5-6k you can do a complete R swap.

Not at the moment, everyone has thier attention on the S, but give it time.

 

Rumors are that Skunk 2 will have A3 cams in April, also Crane Cams was supposed to have something at SEMA, but I haven't heard anything (I need to just call them and ask...)

 

some one was telling me about a s2000 head swap on a k series motor and a crazy 9k rev limit whats that **** aboutttt, is it true.

 

Just rumors at the moment. All I have heard about are the k24 with the type S head.
