need help ac compressor smoking
i dont know how this happend yesterday i did a anti freeze change on my car and i did a flush for the radiator it told me to run the car for 10 min with the heater on i did that and today i go to turn my air on and its blowing hot so i let it run for awhile thinking that its going to get cold and i see smoke starts to come out like a couple of min later i see that smoke is starting to come in the car and i look outside there was smoke coming from the engine bay so i turned off the ac and opened my hood to see what was smoking after the smoked cleared i notice that the ac compressor was burnt at the end of it.... what could be the problem that i am having and what could have caused this....

Compressors can seize up from being overcharged with refrigerant. Have you ever done anything to the AC? If it was ever open & moisture got in there, maybe some ice blocked the flow at the evaporator? Maybe some dessicant got loose from the receiver/dryer? Sometimes the compressor just seizes up kinda for no reason...
