Default DriveshaftShop Stage 2 Axles((trouble))

I installed stage 2 axles from DSS on my car a few weeks back and almost every time with just normal driving 2nd and 3rd gear from 2-3500 rpms the entire car vibrates like its going over a bed of rocks and then stops....

-2nd went to the track last night for first time with them, wheel hop threw second and 3rd gear on every single run......

-I think something is seriously wrong here but im trying to see if anyone else with these axles is having the same trouble , any help would be great ! thanks guyz.

oh and now that i think about, if you have a vibration like that, it could be a broken motor mount, excessive engine movement can cause wheel hop

right but the motor mount is not broken, and it only does the vibration and hop at a certain speed and gear........

-plus i have Tein HA suspension and falken tires, so i dont think there causing it, cuz like i said i never had this problem until after the axle upgrade.......

$700 out the window!!!!!!!!!! <300whp broke their claimed 400hp axels! Lame!
People just keep telling me NAPA after my OEMs break.....but all they can say is Lifetime warranty! Thats nice and all, but I don't think I want to be replacing axels every time I launch hard!

NO!!!!!

The NAPA axle they put in before the DSS stage 2 in the pictures snapped at the other end (in the tranny housing) and screws my brother's Quaife diff! That's why he got the DSS... i told him to go Enjo! lol

I thought I was the only one who had this problem. I broke 2 stg 1 axles with a stock motor and street tires. They finally upgraded me to stg 2 axles for free (after a long phone debate) and so far I haven't broken them. I also have a really bad vibration/shimmy in 2nd and 3rd gear. It almost feels like a cracked bearing in the inner joint, but I haven't taken them apart to see. It seems to me like a set of pepboys $50 cheapos are what I need. I just don't want them to break in the middle of a race.

honestly from all I've seen I'm thinking OEM honda axles are damn good. 270+hp and they hold up rather well.

ya i use oem replacements from a place called cv source, they supply honda w/theres. they are 110 a side and have handled some 5k rpm drops at the track w/bf drags, no probsa so far, and a lifetime warrenty.

if anyone is interested i will get you there # and/or be willing to go get a set and ship them out to anyone who wants.
