what kind of motor is it going on?
the 4-2-1 header is more of a low end torque gainer.
the 4 to 1 is a more popular and top end header... good for vtec motors

i have the apex stainless 4-2-1 1 piece on my d series- i picked it up for 275 shipped from groupbuycenter a few months ago. the fitment was good, the welds were beautiful and the gains were nice(well not really, but for a header i noticed a little difference ) overall im really happy with my apex. i also have apex ws catback and i think they make very good products

This whole thing about a 4-2-1 header being better for midrange on a B16 is crap. Look at some dyno charts, especially on clubsi.com. From about 3500-4000rpm and up, the 4-1 kills...all the time.

i know that going with the 4-2-1 i will be sacrificing power but i need it for the ground clearence, that is why i am looking into a 4-2-1 header, just wondering which one will be good for me.
