What is a good 4-2-1 header for the buck?
have been researching the comptech, but was wondering if there is another header that is just as good or better? any help would be appreciated.
what kind of motor is it going on?
the 4-2-1 header is more of a low end torque gainer.
the 4 to 1 is a more popular and top end header... good for vtec motors

i have the apex stainless 4-2-1 1 piece on my d series- i picked it up for 275 shipped from groupbuycenter a few months ago. the fitment was good, the welds were beautiful and the gains were nice(well not really, but for a header i noticed a little difference
) overall im really happy with my apex. i also have apex ws catback and i think they make very good products

This whole thing about a 4-2-1 header being better for midrange on a B16 is crap. Look at some dyno charts, especially on clubsi.com. From about 3500-4000rpm and up, the 4-1 kills...all the time.
i know that going with the 4-2-1 i will be sacrificing power but i need it for the ground clearence, that is why i am looking into a 4-2-1 header, just wondering which one will be good for me.
