4-2-1 is best for the street because it gives you better low and midrange response...
4-1 sucks down low, and is only effective on high hp cars

Actually the 4-1 isn't that bad down low, there differen't isn't as much as most people think. On the other hand, the 4-2-1 isn't that bad on the top end either. It just depend on the design of a header. A good design 4-2-1 header can out perform a 4-1 header in the top end.
To me, I would go with 4-1, since Honda engine is mean for high revving.

First off SOHC or DOHC
SOHC 4-2-1 better torque and you will notice it
DOHC 4-1 better hp which is what this motor is built for high reving fun.
