Use a Deltagate "fire-ring" gasket instead....

I also blew my "paper" crap gasket as well only on 6.5psi

either use one of those metal gaskets, or just don't use anything at all.

for the bolts, i use those self-locking nuts, but not the ones with the nylon. It has a little lip on it that helps it lock onto the thread more. Or use lock washers

first off, what manifold are u running? well im using a rev-hard cast iron manifold and i used to have the problem of bolts coming loose from the wastegate. then i switched it to the Honda OEM studs from the head, exhaust ports. i added some lock washers and used the Honda nut with it, never had a problem since. im also using the gasket with the fire ring, never went bad on me.

its kinda gay that tial probably knows about the issues w/ their gaskets, yet they still don't supply their good WG's w/ the crappy gaskets instead of the better quality ones w/ the fire ring.. for tial on that..

I've never had any problems with the ones I've used. I guess they call it a "fire ring" for a reason.

thats what happen to my max-rev manifold -- the wastegate flange AND the turbo flange both warped, causing me to blow gaskets like crazy. i ended up removing the manifold, and sanding/grinding both flanges down so it was flat again. i used a top-notch(cant remember brand) gasket between the turbo and the manifold, and high temp silicon between the wastegate and manifold. havent had and problems since then. high temp silicon works really well, or no gasket at all like others mentioned works too.

hmm.. maybe i'll get one of these.. i can get these not to come loose, but i get leaks on most tial connections.. time to get couple of these.

I am using no gasket with high temp silicon. Has been a perfect seal for nearly a year now. I drive nearly 120 miles per day, so I know that this combo works pretty well.

possible..i had a maxrev mani myself and i had trouble with the flange also...if its warped enough you will always have problems with it. Only way to fix it is to "lap" it. Or you can send the mani back to maxrev...curtis is a great guy and stands behind his products.
