Default HCP billet H22-EG driver side motor mount

I saw that HCP now offers a billet driver side motor mount for the H22's going into the EG/DC chassis. I was wondering if any of you guys are using the billet one and how is it holding up. Do you feel any vibration? Cause it looks like its a little bit thicker than the regular HCP one. What im saying is that i know that if the motor mount touches the chassis then you will get some vibration, so im just wondering if the billet motor mount fits in correctly with no problems. Im about to order my mounts on monday so i would like to know which set to get. TIA!!

i have the new set with the billet drivers and its very nice looking... have not installed the H yet tho so I cant say much about fitment... however if it didnt fit then i doubt they would have changed their kit that already worked for one that wouldnt.

It's thicker because it's billet aluminum. If it was as thin as steel, then it would break but with the thicker aluminum mount, one guy here dyno tested his car with 458 whp (turbo H22 setup in an EG hatch) and had no problems. I wanted to take a picture of his setup but he was kind of reluctant to let me do so .

Ordered the mounts from JDMshit.com from Newman, got them for a monthly special of $275 shipped w/ the billet driver side mount.
