ok this is the thing that i dont get about people on here.
we value our hondas soo much, adn we try to up grade them to excellent performance specs. now when someone goes and tries to sell their car, everyone says its too high of a price. granted, people do try to get some good deals, but there is such a thing as lowballing. i mean yes people do sometime ask a completely outragous number for thier car. but me, unlike those people, have done the best quality upgrades on my vehicle, and no expense was spared. the car is in pristine shape, and has all top notch parts in it. (i.e. sparco torinos instead of tenzo r or shogun junk.) there are no stupid shitty alteeza's or big goofy dubs on this vehicle. people are always praising this vehicle, yet when i try to get half of my money back out of it, they laugh in my face. ide love to see someone build a car even close to this for less than $18,000 in receipts.
So, to make a long story short and alot less interesting,
BUY MY CAR PEOPLE. ITS WELL BUILT. NOT JUNK.

Nick,
I don't think any questions the work or money you put into the car or the quality of parts in it. You have to keep a few things in mind however:
1) Most (not all) Honda/Acura enthusiasts are of the younger age group (18-25?)who simply can't afford to dish out $13K+ on a car outright. That's why they start off with a cheap base then add parts as they have the funds.
2) It's not a surprise to anyone here that no matter how much money you spend modding a car, you're never going to get anywhere close to what you spent on it back when selling it. That's why a lot of people opt to put their cars back to stock and sell the parts separately.
That being said, I don't think you should get too offended by whatever lowball offers you get from people, that's just how the market is. Props to a car well-built and good luck with your sale.

i agree, im not expecting get anywhere near what i got into the car back, its and integra not a ferrari.
yes true there arent alot of younger people that wil be able to buy a 13k car outright. but i did buy my r when i was 19 and it was brand new, and then the year to follow i bought a brand new $27,000 tacoma.
i dont get offended by lowballers, i havent gotten one offer at all. if you ask me, especially considering the blood and sweat that i put into this car, 13000 is a low *** price. take a look at the pics of it when i got it. everyone here knows damn well that is one hell of a transformation.
(all of the above was not a flaming)

I think that's a good price. Stick with it and someone will buy it. These cars just take time to sell. The market isn't as large as you think.
i have a few buddies that are 6'2" plus and 210-220lbs and they fit. tight....but they fit. and none of them will let go of their miatas.
its available still...both are.
