Default CRX Si Seats In EG?

Hey guys, just wondering if this is possible. My friend recently crashed his 91 CRX Si, and he's basically giving me the seats. Do you know if i can fit them in an EG hatch. Has it been/can be done? I tried searching and nothing came up. THANKS in advance for any help.

They won't bolt in you have to drill the new holes in the floor of your car. Also they would sit too low in my opinion. Get del sol seats they're not as good but all you have to do is swap the rails and you're done. The del sols sit quite lower than the stock ones but not too low. The del sols are the most cost effective choice. On good ones you should pay $300-$400.

fabricated mounts my friend, there is no way to make the seats bolt up, even if you try to swap the rails, they wont match up!!!

take the apholstery clips from the seat pan and put the ones from your civic seats in place of them. then they will bolt right in.

My friend (Turbogixxer) and I did it. We basically put the EG rails onto the CRX seats. Some fabrication was needed. Basically the car/rails will be utilizing the stock holes on the floor.

You would have to cut the metal pieces behind the seatbelt clip that connected the top half of the seat to the bottom. You also have to cut off the welded in screw on the rails. Also, you will need to drill new holes so that they line up with the holes on the bottom of the CRX seats.

On both seats, the rail closest to the door, will only need new holes to be drilled in, and it will bolt on to the seat. The rail on the seatbelt side will also need holes to be drilled. Also when you put the EG rail on the CRX seat(seatbelt clip side), you will just need to buy like a 4 foot long 2 1/2 inch wide by maybe a few centimeters thick metal slab. Make sure it is strong and can barely be bent. You have to make brackets, I'd say 3-4 inches long with two holes. Because you'll notice on the seatbelt clip side that if bolt the rail to the bottom of the seats it is not wide enough, this what the brackets are for. So you just bolt in the seatbelt clip side rail onto the floor and measure the hole from the rail to seat so you can make an "extension bracket."

It was really easy when we did it. Just had to come up with ideas along the way. If you need pics or anymore assistance PM me, and I will try to get you pics. I will get shots of the brackets as well if needed.

They feel and look ten times better, everyone mistakes them for Type R seats. Not to mention they hug like a ****.

It took a whole day to do one seat, but that was because we were figuring it out how to do it, but it's nothing a drill and dremel cannot accomplish.

Also, they do not sit too low. I did not even notice a height change. Just use the EG rails and sliders and you'll be alright.
