check engine code 43/cel code 43 ODB 1 please help
Okay guys I did a search I couldn't find a good solid answer I know the code means malfunctioning fuel system. This is what I've done so far replaced fuel pump(walbro hp), fuel injectors, fuel filter, and fpr. I did notice when I pulled the fpr there wasn't that much fuel there and my plugs were white really white. I don't know what else I can do I did see on the search some people say the o2 sensor can cause this code what about a faulty ecu or vacuum problems. Last thing at idle my car blurps and poops very lightly though you have to really listen to it to notice.
Please someone help me out

I read the thread informative, but I don't think that's it when I bought my car it threw a 43 almost immediately after I got it ,I thought no big deal the guy I bought it from said the check engine light comes on sometime and I was like okay I can fix it, but this is turning into a nightmare. My car has a farely new looking aftermarket O2 sensor in it already so either my O2 is bad or its not hooked up properly. Anybody have the wiring diagram for an autozone 02?

Okay guys I think I fixed my check engine light not sure just yet, but it looks very promising my whole problem was the 02 sensor. The sensor wasn't bad it was just wired up wrong. The guy I bought the car from replaced the 02 sensor to fix the car but all it did was make it worse. The universal o2 sensor was wired wrong I will include the right way to wire it up. For the rest of you guys I would say replace your O2 sensor but just make sure you hook it up correctly the car is idling alot better now I hope this finally clears everything up.
So chop off the connector on your old O2 sensor and crimp or solder it to the universal O2 sensor.
white - black (heater wires)
white - black (heater wires)
gray - green (ground)
black - white (signal)
The 2 white wires are for the heater and don't have a polarity.
