Default Power Windows in 96 97 98 99 00 EK hatch

Hey, I need help. I just got power windows with switches, and everything for the door. The only thing I am missing is the floor harness, and i wouldn't like to get it. I have a helms for a 96-98 and the door wiring is from a 99-00 EX or SI .

I'm just wondering if someone can show me or tell me where I have to get the source to tap into from the fuse box. I bought the relay already, but i just need to know the color or the location of the wires i need to tap to use these door wiring.

Power locks and mirrors will come later.

I'm not sure here but I spent the whole day yesterday doing the same exact project myself. IM and we can help each other out because I am stuck right now with no idea what is wrong.

In answering your question, I think the floor harnes is a necesity, but if you are doing something different, I can take pictures of my harnesses and email them to you since everything is taken apart right now.

You said you have "the fuse." What fuse is this or are you talking about a relay. Either way, can you tell me what you are talking about and where it goes. Please be a descriptive as possible. Thanks

I got my door panels, switches, motor, regulators, and door wiring for $210. All i need now are actuators for power locks, and the floor harness wiring or i'm gonna wire it myself. wish me luck

It is easier if you do not wire it stock. It took me a while to figure it out looking at all of the diagrams then I just wired it up without using the stock harness and it worked just great. I actually hooked the locks to my alarm though, but the windows still work perfect. Where are you guys stuck at?

wire it to the fuse pannel on the inside. just use the same size fuse as stock ( im assuming 7.5) that way its still fused

Go here to find your ignition wire, I believe that it is balck with yellow. http://www.bulldogsecurity.com...tails
There is a blu/blk and grn/blk that come from the driver side window harness that need to tap into the ignition wire. The grn/blk also needs to run to the passenger side door harness as well as blu/org and blu/yel.(I think that those are the other 2 colors.) and then the black wire needs to go to chassis ground. That should get them to work.

you only need three wires to make the windows work.
green/ black is the power
blue/orange
blue/red.
and of course the black for ground.
i just put my power windows in my 98 cx hatch yesterday
