so i start my car earlier and the maintenance required light starts flashing. i've read that it is just a reminder that i should change my oil soon. is this right. i do the oil myself so how do i reset the light?
if this is not the reason i guess i go to the dealer then.

i was at the track last night. would that have any thing to do with the light? i didn't do anything to hurt the car(that i know of). so i have no idea what is it is. so should i reset it? will it comeback on if the oil is not the problem?

feel around right under the steering wheel.There is a small box there with a button.The button is kinda square.Hold it down then start the car while continueing to hold.That should make it go away.
