Maybe you dont understand the problem???

i too thought of this that is what deterred me from doing the 4 lug type r brake conversion and i just went ahead with the gsr front and rear conversion. i knew that the rotors would eventually give out and i wouldnt be able to find replacements as easily or as cheap as the gsr. the BLING factor wasnt worth it to me. i asked this question b4 knowing and have seen a as load of people do the 4 lug type r swap and no one wanted to answer its liek they want to keep it to themselves or they dont know either.
Ok... I was under the impression that the Honda accord front brake caliper/rotor set was the same as what was on the ITR. Weren't some of the older model accords 4x114.3? I'm just going on tidbits that I remember from random posts. It may be time to measure the dimensions on one of your rotors and go to an autoparts store and find an oem rotor that fits. Honda tends to reuse things, so there has gotta be another honda/acura that uses the same rotors.

(5:52 AM 5/19/2003) SpooN Man: yes they are the same as lude rotors. I'll e-mail brian about it.
(12:55 PM 5/19/2003) VX: are these rotors the same diameter, width as Fastbrakes' GSR rotors, just with a different spindle pattern???
(1:22 PM 5/19/2003) SpooN Man: yes, I think that they are the exact same but drilled for your 4 x 114 app. Lude 4 lug rotors are the same size also.

Here's a pic of a replacement rotor for the 4x114.3 lug pattern. I'm almost positive that i got this pic from a member here on H-T. I don't remember who the member is or what kind of rotor this is.

(1:36 PM 5/23/2003) VX: Hi, what replacement rotors did you find out that will bolt onto the 96 Spec. ITR hubs (4X114.3)??? BTW: nice site man, cool photos!
(1:47 PM 5/23/2003) KJEG94: thanks man. i ended up using 96 USDM gsr rear rotors. Redrilled by a machine shop to 4x114.3 and bored out in the center to fit the hub. Its only a slight amount to bore but if u have a stock jdm rotor they can match it
(2:09 PM 5/23/2003) VX: ahh i see, thanks man!

I don't understand the point of getting the 4x114.3 conversion, is there something I'm missing? Aren't the brakes teh same as gsrs? What would make you choose to do this, aside from being "different"?

same as GSR plus different wheel selection.
I think 800 bucks for a nice 4 disc setup plus mint wheels is a very good buy

ok guys, use 92-96 Prelude VTEC Rotors (11'') I haven't actually done any 96 ITR swaps yet but that would be my assumption. If the 96 discs are actually smaller then I would say you should try the the two different types of Accord/Prelude discs.
Honda Accords at one point came with a ******* weird disc, it may be that one. I'll give you both part numbers (Brembo)
094 2927
094 2924
one of those is a two piece ...... hope that helps you guys out
The above brake set looks like it uses 92-96 Prelude NON-VTEC

Ok, it's been confirmed that Prelude NON VTEC rotors don't work as a
replacement rotor, but can somebody confirm from experience if the
Prelude VTEC rotors will bolt up and fit as a replacement rotor??????

Ok based on what Koala Yummies is saying... Prelude VTEC, and Non-VTEC, and Accord rotors will not work as replacement rotors... Instead of re-drilling GSR rotors... DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT AFTER MARKET BRAKES (ROTORS & CALIPERS) WILL WORK???

re-drilling GS-R rotors are the best way to go IMO. The 93 prelude VTEC brakes go on the hub but YES they are a bit bigger. 11" if I am not mistaken.
Do you know what that means? It means a OEM Honda big brake upgrade. Yes kiddos you can bolt on 93+up caliper bracket and caliper in the front Woowooo!!!! You have to shave a little on the caliper to where it mounts.

Yeah, I know I've talked to VX and Koala Yummies about this, and I'm having my doubts about the Prelude Rotors. Maybe the 3rd gen ones might work? Or maybe my rotors are just odd-ball as hell and I'll have to redrill eventually. Though remember guys that it's really not a big deal because you can 'turn' the stock rotors at least once at the machine shop, then you have to worry about replacement. Sorry I can't provide more info, but you just don't really know. Good luck to you guys, and I'd like to hear any info on any usdm replacement rotors. Here's my rear 4 x 114.3

Ok, I was bored as hell, and frustrated as hell also, i did all the searching i could to find who has this rotor /caliper set up on their car, and i found the member.
Here is the thread where i found out about him: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=272792
Read the second post by Owen The Soyboy. He gives a link to "Jesse's site"

I clicked on " 08/18/02 - EG 11" Brake Upgrade " So here is the link: http://216.169.147.239/images/brakes/
I'll post up the pics for you lazy *****. It looks as if he ordered some Brembo Prelude rotors and shaved the calipers or something. But as Koala already mentioned, shims could be an easier alternative.
Anybody knows who "jesse" is?
EDIT: Fixed pics

so this is only a little OT, but I heard some one mention s13 or s14 brakes as an upgrade. I have a PS13 (JDM 180sx) front clip with the brakes. Any knowledge of that swap/upgrade. I think parts will be easier to get.
