Crx Rear rust, Restoration Options?
http://hometown.aol.com/strictlyneccs/page1.html
My options are these, Should i wait about 3 weeks and get it professionally done at a body shop where they will weld new metal on and blah blah.
Attempt to use some sort of body hole tape, and 'tiger hair' bondo type filler after having cut and sanded off all of the rust.
or Some how try to find someone just to weld some metal on for me for cheap and do the body filler my self.
Or i dont know if it would be possible to like rivit, or bolt a peice of a spare fender i have then do the body work with bondo.
Either way im going to have to go to the body shop to cut and weld some metal into the wheel well if i dont find someone to do it for less then the shop. But i have to get these holes covered in order to pass inspection. I was quoted like 400 to do that side alone, with the wheel well and door sill(not visible).
I know everyone is going to say wait 3 weeks, but i want to see the possibilities. Has anyone ever tryed the other methods? Does anyone do welding, or know someone who does welding in the Eastern Pa, Nj,Ny,Md area? alright thanks for any help.

If you dont know what you are doing or have very little experence you should wait for the shop guys because they will most likely redo your work again, and that will take time and cost you more $$.
