Default Type S header?

Is JDM type s header beneficial in terms of better performance over my stock usdm header?...or is it the same thing? For a 5th gen.

Thanks

I guess I was a little off.
THe A pipe is slightly different. http://www.accordwagonclub.com/prelude_type_s.htm

ANyways, gains are non-existent, I can guarantee you that.

Please don't doubt people like me. And that was the pic that I was trying to find. As for power gain I'd said its compareable to a DC header. Maybe a bit less power.

Wow you must be the ****.
Anyways, you said it was a completely different design . I said it was the same thing. Who was closer to the truth?
The difference in designs is negligible, just like the power gains. Less gains than a DC header is losing power.

Thank you and yes I'm the ****.
The header design is competely different, its different from being the same so that makes it competely different. Did you notice the longer flex pipe, the independant piping, and the oval design? As far as I can see its completely different. Maybe you were expecting some thing along the lines of open pipes.

Anyways: Stoopid215 I'd suggest that you get and Mugen or a SMSP. And yes YIKES as far as pricing. But otherwise IMHO DC and other headers won't yeild results.

That's not the first time i've seen that prelude type-s page. I've always loved how bad the grammar is on that.

dont get the type-s header, its not worth it. get the greddy header, all you need is alittle modification to make it fit. i have heard you get some good gains with those

greddy is good, I also like the fujitsubo super ex header both BB1 applications but you can modify them for the 5th gen

Here we go again- are you ready?
The two pictures are comparing the base model and type SH A pipes. Completely different designs, obviously.

I am going back to my original statement that the JDM Type S header is the same as a stock US 2001 Type SH header. No gains, not woth $35
