Default 4 to 1 type R header

Do any of you have a JDM type R DC 4 to 1 header on a B16? I need pics please. thank you in advanced

yeah right, delete about 2/3 of the front crossmember it fits fine

no..
I dont think any 4-1 header clears the stock crossmember without serious hacking,.
The itr 4-1 header hangs slighty higher then the the dc sport 4-1..not by much though..maybe 1/2 or 1/4 inch the most...
It hangs so low it's scary..

YAh I know that you need to do some major mod to the crossmember, but will it affect the feel off the car in anyway? Which cat in your opinion is good for this header, Iam have a Ultraflow exhaust.

I dont think so..Not sure though..I think it really depends how much you bang out,,
I know when I put a dc 4-1 header in my friends b16 rex we banged the hell out of the lip with a big *** hammer..But we didnt touch the structual part of the member....
After he saved up some $$$ he finally bought the jimfab unit.. ..IMO he should have done this from the beggining,,

And as far as a cat ..it seems as if many people have good experience with carsound..

Thanx Mr Speaker, for your knowledge, this is what HT is all about helping eachother out I was gona get full-race crossmber but $450 is a lil bit steep right now on my budget

Yeah $450 is high..
You could always look in the classifieds for a used aftermarket crossmember..

I was thinking if I cut the lip of the crossmember with a dremal bit. Or a grinder, and grinded it down, has anyone dont this?
