A search will yeild many results, this is a hot topic right now. I went with the icebox because i'm not too fond of AEM's fit, and know a number of people who had problems with them. I think bringing cold air to the filter is a better way of doing things. Many people disagree. What do you want to do? Is your car modified? AEMs tend to give the most power. Comptechs tend to give more low-end torque compared to the AEM. The full comptech setup is fairly quiet. AEMs are loud (and sound gorgeous). Check the mods section of my site for my impressions of the icebox and pics, others will have info on the AEMs i'm sure....ultimately, it's up to you, of course

Oh yeah, it went down a couple of hours ago, forgot about that. We get webspace as a result of the generosity of one of D's friends, but sometimes it crashes/he has to take it down...it'll be up eventually, I don't have much control (but we're super-lucky to have such a great chunk of space, thanks again Saxer )

I'll be addressing this topic myself at the dyno on the 14th of July. It will be on my Spec B, SMS header, SMS 2.5" exhaust set-up. I'll let the numbers speak for themselves.

I have the intake and icebox on mine and love the growl it has, but still quiet,,,,,only slightly louder then stock. If you local bay area people want to hear, feel it Come by my shop Diablo Autosports in Dublin, or I'll be at Sac. Raceway Sat. June 30th PM for the Grudgefest

aw man i hope boba doesnt see this thread....

i just pout the ice box in and i can say that the quality and fit is very good. did i say that the fit and finish is very good??? comptech thought out the design very well!!!!

i drive my roomates R with the AECRAP all the time and i must say honestly that the AECRAP does feel on the butt dyno, much better. what i mean by better is that it seems to pull alittle harder in all gears when vtec is switched.

i have not dynoed my ice box yet but so far, on a bone stock R i have put down 164.2 WHP and 116.7 TQ.

i think that the ice box prob pushed my numbers up just a little on the dyno.

the pull on the low and mid range is very linear and predictable. the power curve is very smooth, nulike the AECRAP (very rough and jerky)

The AEM is a crappy fit but will out perform the Comptech in all arenas.

wasn't there a comparison with the Injen also which beat out both the AEM and the Comptech.
