Another great experience
A couple of weeks ago I brought my car to be aligned to Town Fair tire in Nashua after I got my B20 swap in. When they were done aligning it, they show me the big problems I had with my tires. I got the tires from them a year and a half before and the guy who did my alignment at that time said I was all set with my camber (Eibach sportline springs). Well needless to say the guy was a moron. The guy at Town Fair, Joe, went completely out of his way to help me out. So I ended up getting 4 new tires for $200 (Yoko Avids). He then got the camber measurements for the car and I was about -2 degress in each corner.
So I then talked to Jon at http://www.thedropshop.tv about what to do about the camber. He suggested the http://www.specprod.com adjustable ball joints in the front and control arms in the back. He got the ball joints in and put them in today. Of course his CC machine wasn't working again so he let me drive off without paying and I am just bringing in a check when the rears come in. This is the second time he has done this.
I go back to Joe after to get my car aligned (again) and get the camber straightened out and Joe get's the job done WITHOUT charging me anything! I think that is great especially because it wasn't like I had to say anything. He just did it. And he said he would take care of it when I came back with the rears.
On my drive back from town fair, Jon calls me to make sure that everything went well and what all the measurements were after it was done. Now this is awesome service. I know Jon is STUPID busy right now, but everytime I get something done, he makes sure that to call me after I have driven it and make sure that I am happy.
Sorry to ramble so much, but I really think that we should praise the good work instead of just complaining about the bad.
