what is this??

95 accord ex brake master cylinder. the red arrow, what is that? It is a hex bolt but what does it do?

It is used for bleeding the cylinder.

haha, never noticed the chalk, but i am assuming that plug is to bleed the cylinder WITH the brake lines attached?

no, you just bleed em like you normally would. dont mess with that hex nut. i tried to bleed mine through that drain plug when i installed my new master cylinder, nothing really comes out... just bleed like you normally would.

That is used for prebleeding the master cylinder so that you do not have to bleed the brakes at each wheel.
