Default H22 or B18c5 in my 92 Hatch?

I just bought a 92 hatch, and it needs some more power... I have a 600hp H22a in my 89 prelude, but it is very nose heavy and I think th H will be too much for the little EG. does anyone have pictures of an H22 in the 92-95 civic? I curious about how low the oil pan will be....

this is my first hatch, so any suggestions based on fisrt hand knowledge would be appreciated. thanks....

BTW--- I'm not just asking to ask, I'm really gonna do a swap, but I need to keep it reliable because this car is my daily driver... the 89 prelude is my drag racing toy.

ive got a JDM b18c.. type R...in my eg hatch, in my opinion if ur gonna go drag.. H22 in a second, they have proper mounts kits so itll fit proper and that thing will rip on slicks, but dont expect to move with street tires.. if ur gonna go road racing, the Type R would be a better motor, it all depends on what ur looking for ur car to do. Ive got a buddy with a eg hatch and a STOCK JDM h22 on a slick he ran a 13.1

I believe I want the agility that the car already has... (it sits on a complete NEX coilover setup) to stay intact. would I be better off with a CRV/VTEC instead of the type R? I already have a B16 head, GSR intake and cams just sitting in my shop. I even have another B16 engine complete w/o a tranny. I can get the type R swap complet for 3300.00 plus axles ect. or I can get an EURO H22a with LSD for 2400.00 and another 1000.00 spent with place racing. I think B-series, but I'm open to block/head swap combos...(I have an LS/Vtec 94 integra that makes 201hp at the wheels, but I'm concerned about longevity and reliability in the hatch... the integra doent get driven much, it just sits on the floor in my showroom. that said, it only has approx 1000 miles on the engine--- how long will it really last?)

You will be happy with both motors and should be hitting 13's with either setup.Like someone said if you want to go drag get the h22 cause in the end it will be faster but if you plan on building it,just get a gsr swap. But for the price you listed get the type r.

Were are you getting your deals from? I am looking to buy a H22 or the Type R motor. How hard is it to put the H22 in the 92 hatch.

A search would greatly benefit those who are inquiring.
