I tried searching the archives but couldn't find anything on it. Has anyone ever wired a power antena switch so that I can keep my antena down when listening to cd's? Any help would really be appreciated.

find out the color of the wire, and wire up a switch. pretty simple

i didnt soder, i crimped my wires. i also figure that placing the switch where he did it would be difficult to push, so i placed mine horizontally in the middle of the tray.

 

i believe it is the green/yellow wire. someone correct me if i'm wrong...

i put my switch in the e-brake slots...and crimped mine also..i used an led switch....and you will be looking for the yellow wire with green stripe...

 

this looks like a simple-MUST HAVE diy mod!!

any ideas from anyone to spice it up...like a funky switch???
or OEM...im thinking switch by the armrest!!

I've been considering this myself... It was either get this switch, or install an s2000 antenna. This seems a bit easier and more appealing. I just love buttons and switches :D
