Default Fan bolt paterns for Aftermarket Radiators, I think I got $crewed, can you help?

Well I just recently installed my Koyo radiator to find it has the Denso radiator bolt patern.
*The Denso model honda radiator is for the GS/LS/RS/SE.
*The Showa model honda radiator is for the GSR and Type-R( Showa is for Integras equiped w/ VTEC)

Excerpt from http://www.absoluteradiator.com
Integra 94-01 4Cyl. 1.8L M/T GS/LS/RS/SE Denso and Toyo
Integra 94-01 4Cyl. 1.8L M/T GS-R VTEC Showa Only

This is a Koyo all aluminum radiator, and it has a Denso bolt patern, they also make a Showa patern Koyo aluminum radiator which has the correct bolt pattern for my fan assembly off my old GSR Showa honda radiator.

A new complete fan assembly for a Denso radiator costs $350 dollars!!! And because I put fluid in the new Koyo radiator they say they can't resell it, which kind of screws me up for sending it back.

What have some of you guys done in the same situation?

What do you guys think I should do?

This is http://www.radiator.com 's Guarantee statement:
Our parts will fit right in your car the first time, without the pain and aggravation that cheaper, generic radiators can cause you. With us, there are no extra trips to the parts store, and you won't spend days trying to shoehorn a foreign object into your car. Some manufacturers save money by making their parts fit several different types of cars. These parts wind up not fitting any car very well. There is nothing more annoying than having spent the time removing your old radiator only to find that the new one doesn't fit. When you install one of our radiators, it will be exactly like the one you just removed, not a flimsy aftermarket imitation. For 20 years, we've been negotiating the best deals with Original Equipment Manufacturers like Visteon (for Ford), AC Delco (for General Motors), Koyo (for Honda and Toyota), Behr (for BMW and Mercedes), CSF and GDI (for Jeep), Valeo (for Chrysler), and more. We used to stock the generic manufacturers but kept getting them returned to us because they either didn't fit or broke after a few weeks. Now we carry only top of the line parts, and back them all up with a Lifetime Warranty and Fit Guarantee. For the 20 years we've been here, we've seen that our customers value their time, energy and peace of mind, more than a few bucks - so if we cost a little more sometimes, it's always worth it.

Buy the Denso fan and let this serve as a lesson about doing research before you buy a product.

http://www.radiator.com only has one application for all their koyo radiators for 94 to 98 Integras. And according to their guarantee statement it should fit. Its seems they didn't know the correct apllications like http://www.absoluteradiator.com did:

I talked to a representative that said they had no problem sending me the Showa Koyo, but when I told them I had already installed it, they asked if I had put liquid in it and I said well of course (freezing temps last night), well the guy on the other line kind of went "hmppgg".. we can't resell radiators that already had fluid in them.

Seems to me like THEY should have known the applications, and shouldn't put this burden on me like they say they avoid in their guarantee.

I'm hoping there is a cheaper aftermarket fan I can use, but I'm worried about the quality that a Showa radiator(made specifically for VTEC equipped cars) may have over a denso .

Edit: Anyone know of the validity that a after market "All Aluminum Racing Radiator" with a Showa bolt pattern may out perform a denso?
I don't know if there are other differences.

I have a Koyo. I have rigged up my stock fan to fit temporarily. Most people run universal fans that mount through the radiator.

Thanks,
Victor

Run to a checker auto parts store and buy two of the imperial slimline fans that they stock. They are like 75 bucks each. Mount on the front side of the radiator and wire as pushers. Work great, cheap fans, easy to wire, and free's up a TON of space in the engine bay.
