Default Head work (milling) and cam timing

Ok folks!

I need to get the final verdict on a technical issue. I am in the process of having my C5 head reworked and part of the work includes milling the head.

The question is this... to correct for the milling how do I adjust cam timing. I am under the impression that 10 thou of milling is equal to 1 degree of retard on the cams.

Is this correct?

TIA

Nash
