Timing is wayyyy offfffff.....HELP!!!!
Guys, A friend of mine just got his head ported and polish (stage 4)...the shop did all the porting and polishing...we installed the head ourselves...we put everyting top dead center and both cams are in the up position...everything is correct but when we check the timing its off by like 7 degress. The car is an acura b18a1 with crower cams with a lift of about 430. We can't get the timing right therefore the car stalls...what do we need to do?
Are you using adjustable cam gears?
Did you degree the cams in?
The shop who worked the head might have milled the deck on the head.
