Default flat top or domed pistons to make high comp raito

Ok, I'm making a certain CR for the motor and wonder if it would be wiser to make the numbers with the cc's from the piston, or concentrate on a smaller headgasket with flat tops
I really wanna use dome pistons to keep a thick headgasket, is that a smart idea or not

flat tops will yield lower compression then a dome top. and a dished or recessed will be even lower then a flat top. you dont want a dome, thats for N/A usually

I think what he's saying is...Acheiving the SAME compression ratio, which would be better? Flat-top or domed
like huge Headgasket with domed
or thin headgasket, milled head with Flattops

Flat top or dished pistons are best for combustion efficiency. Go with the lower compression pistons and stock headgasket.

go with a flat top piston, if you need compression mill the head, a smaller combustion chamber will be more efficient to an extent...
