200whp out of a STOCK COMPRESSION usdm itr motor (NA)?
Let's keep this to a simple debate please.
c/r = 10.6:1 stock. You can do a thinner headgasket to bump it up a little.
You can do headwork, and whatever cams, valvetrain, i/h/e ecu combo you want...
Let's see where this takes us fella's.

I hit 178whp with just Mugen USDM Header, AEM, and no p/s. Think I could have gotten 22 more horsepower with other bolt ons?
is your 'stock' motor allowed to have a stand alone ecu or fuel management as well? that would be good for a few more ponies.

Nobody want's to play this game, eh?
Miguel SNIINS made 205whp (an even if is a jdm spec R , just a slit higher CR )
you can almost achieve that with a thin head gasket on the CR difference between the 2 types of motors .

MPH or CPR (one of the two) got 200 WHP with Skunk2 stage ones, he had different pistons though, running 11.3:1. Not bad though considering how mild the cams are, he was also only tuning the cam gears, and vafc.

Give me about a month, I should yeild same results!!

I'll play this game. Guys are already hitting 190whp with SMSP header, exhaust, and intake so it would see possible with tuning and a thinner head gasket.
well my friend Jason got more than 200 whp with stock B18c5 bottom end. With an HKS heder it will be even more.

thats what i'm saying.
i/h/e is still considered stock to me.
but he emphasized on the STOCK part since he capitalized it on the title.. yet he wants cams and the rest of the valve train just to begin with... ok.

ok, look at this thread, EP made 208whp on a JDM motor, with stock cams. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=150679 EDIT-"i just swapped out the the us pistons for the higher compression jdm ones" only internal mod

yeah i know, he has a USDM motor with JDM pistons
from the thread:
ok..im gonna try and remember every detail of mt engine...
jdm itr pistons
mugen headgasket
mugen outer springs( )
portflow inner springs
crower ti retainers
toda cam gears
spoon t-body
mugen oil pan
mugen cai
mugen header
spoon cat-jack
mugen twin-loop
b&m fuel riser
mugen ecu
apexi vafc
other contributing items:
vp 103
lightwieght tires and wheels (mf10's and hoosier r3s03)
lightwieght flywheel (jun)
lightwieght clutch (mugen)
lightwieght rotors (mugen)
im sure these last items can be argued over...but i believe they all helped because the engine still has to accelerate them..
oh yeah...thanks ED....

key work---> STOCK. Everything you just listed wasnt stock. I dont understand. no way can you make 200whp out of a STOCK ITR.
any mods you can do without removing or opening the motor.
oh ok...With my C's and valvetrain in i put 192whp with stock compression. i know that it is almost useless to use Cs with stock compression because it will lower your compression. what have the B's put down with stock compression????? anyone know?>
