Default Brembo slotted and drilled brake rotors with Axxiss pads

Any opinions on this or suggestions for other combos?

The brake rotors on my 95 teg are in need of changing... and soon.

TIA, AC

I have this setup on my car and its nice for the $$$. If you have the $$$ get a real brake upgrade like the Wilwoods. Dont get me wrong though, these do work really nice. You will notice a difference.

i have the same set up too.. i only have bolt-on performance parts, and i have to agree that it is pretty nice for $$. minimal yet noticeable difference..

damn ive had mine for 2 years and ive been pretty harsh on them, many 130 - 0 mph stops,

Are you sure you've always had your lug nuts torqued to 80 ft/lbs ?? cuz if not, they'll warp fast.

Yeah, i read somewhere about the warping when using slotted and drilled rotors. Someone told me the slotted Brembo rotors would do just fine and have less chance of warping.

Im getting a package deal for the front and rear slotted/drilled rotors for $190 + $85 for the Axxiss pads +$24 shipping. $299 total.

Its cheaper than oem for the same setup, but i dunno.
Is this price ok or am i getting raped?

Just get the blanks. You can't resurface cross-drilled or slotted rotors. Those axxis pads eats the rotors like nothing too.

I bought the rotors on ebay and then talked to the retailer for a deal on pads as well. Speak to Elvis Nguyen @ http://www.iRotors.com.
