b20 turbo? 12's?
What's up everyone. I own a 95 civic coupe and its time for some speed. Money is a bit of an issue but not a major one. I was considering two options:
1) A stock b20 turbo
2) A ls turbo
Now i don't know how much more expensive a b20 buildup is, but I want to run very low 13's on street tires, or high 12's. This is very important to me, because my car will be on the street 99% of the time. I want to run stock internals if possible as well. I have been doing research and am considering not going vtec on the blocks. To me is seems like a waste of moneyif you are going turbo. If i could get any advice on a turbo trim (probably a t3-t4) or a junkyard (300zx). Also do you guys think the b20 is worth the extra cash, and how much if so. Like i said i want a reliable street car that will be very-quick. Thanks for any help or input.

how could u compare a t3/t4 to a junkyard 300zx turbo. 300zx turbos are tiny even smaller than a stock eclipse turbo. id go b20vtec. imo. i dont know the price difference though.
Id do ls turbo...b20 is a tough swap..You have to know how to wire it up and you have to change the manifold..LS turbo should get you into the mid 13s...b20 turbo will be a little more expensive because you will have to buy all the parts separtely..the b20 motor will be about 800 when an ls swap will run you 1500 from a junk yard with everything including ecu and tranny..If you have the time and money and knowledge go b20...if you want a quick good swap that you can boost high with...go ls turbo..besides its easier to find ls parts
