difference between 94-96 GSR, and 97-00?
is there a difference in engines? or the design on the GSR's in years 94-96 compared to 97 and up? i know people switch bumpers and stuff, but why? is there any real differance between the years?
actually it's 94-97 and 98-01, there isn't a difference in the engines, the headlights in the 98-01 are a little bigger so therefore the bumper is a little different as well. I don't think there is much more of a difference between that
98+ have different side view mirrors, climate control has a slightly different design, rims, muffler, sunvisors, sunvisor mirror, shift **** has slightly different stiching, and i believe the cloth interior has a slightly different pattern

same motor.. but other than OBD I and OBD II there were some cosmetic changes... the side view mirrors had some lines added to them.. the front and rear bumper bumper and headlights were a bit different, rims varried from 94-95, 96, 97, and 98-01... slightly diff mufflers, the leather in the newer models is supposed to be softer/more plush w/ the wrinkled look.... also the addition of the 2 adjustment ***** (for front and rear tilt of the seat cushion) on the drivers seat on the 98+...all red (incl turn signals..excl reverse lights) tail lights in the 98+ ... along w/ what the others said..
now do the pre 98s have OBD 1 or OBD 2? and what exactly is OBD1 or 2 lol i am kinda new and i cant seem to put that one together on what it is
.. thanks for the help

"what exactly is OBD1 or 2"
OBD 1 and 2 are the ECU's in the integra GSR they switched over to OBD 2 when they had to put smog restrictions on there cars to be legal in all 50 states, I believe correct me if I'm wrong.

OBD = On Board Diagnostics
Also, the ABS lines/modulatory/master cylinder were ALL different too. The later style Integras seem to have more of a "cushiony" seat as well as the door panels.
The gauge clusters on the 98+ have a "key" embarked into to it to signify it has the immobilizer.

obd 1 is less restrictive and responds better to mods.
This has never been proven, ever. Its is esentially a rumor that one of the "all knowing" import tuner magazines start when they did an inacurate test of a OBD I and OBD II car.
All cars will respond to modifications differently. Yes OBD II has more sensors, but it has never been shown that it causes any difference in modifications and power. The advantage to OBD I is that it can be chipped, where OBD II can't.
